A Lomas Design Collection

Handcrafted in Devon, halfway between Dartmoor and the sea, our furniture pieces continue a legacy of iconic design by Rodney Lomas. Blending traditional steam-bending techniques with high-end durable finishing. We use locally sourced native hardwoods working with the grain to ensure every piece is as unique as the tree it came from. Merging sculptural art with ethical, low-impact production methods here at Lomas Design we create one-of-a-kind, sustainable pieces designed to last a lifetime.

Every piece of wood carries the story of what it has been through. The rings that mark years of drought and plenty. The knots where a branch once reached toward light. The much sought after pearlescent ripples formed by decades of grace under pressure.

Engrained is our collection of five pieces, each made from native hardwoods and finished with the same unhurried attention that has defined this workshop from the beginning. Shaped by the same heads, hands and hearts. Nothing rushed. Nothing compromised.
